Jesus Guillermo Peña Fernandez — engineer, fighter, and the mind behind Project Heimdall.

Guillermo Peña is not a typical tech founder.

Before building helmet technology, he competed as an MMA fighter — where situational awareness, reaction time, and the ability to process threat information faster than your opponent is the difference between winning and losing. That same instinct drove him to look at the motorcycle helmet differently than every engineer before him.

A trained engineer, Guillermo has designed, built, and shipped multiple products across different industries. Deal Snatcher is a Chrome extension he developed that automatically finds and applies coupon codes at checkout across thousands of online retailers — live on the Chrome Web Store. Mr. Game Player (mrgameplayer.com) is a solo-built Web3 gaming platform where players compete in skill-based 3D mini-games with instant peer-to-peer wagering settled on the Polygon blockchain — built from zero budget, with Guillermo handling everything from smart contract architecture to 3D asset design.

Jesus Guillermo Peña Fernandez at Hicam A.C. non-profit community event with children
Hicam A.C. — Community outreach in Mexico

He co-founded a non-profit organization focused on community support for children in underserved areas through Hicam A.C., wrote technical publications on embedded systems and product development, and built Apex Rider HUD — a smart helmet system he campaigned twice on Indiegogo, each time proving that the demand for helmet-integrated technology is real and growing.

Those campaigns are not the story of two failures. They are the story of a builder who ran the same experiment twice, listened to what the market told him, and used that information to design something fundamentally better. Every backer comment, every piece of rider feedback, every technical limitation that the Indiegogo campaigns surfaced became an input into Project Heimdall.

Project Heimdall is the product all of those experiences made possible. A former fighter who understands threat awareness. An engineer who has shipped real products. A non-profit founder who understands mission. A writer who can explain complex technology to the people who need it. And a hardware builder who has already done it twice and knows exactly what to do differently the third time.

Two campaigns. Real demand. Real lessons.

Apex Rider HUD ran two Indiegogo campaigns that proved consumer appetite for smart helmet technology. The feedback from those campaigns directly shaped every design decision in Project Heimdall.

Real hardware. Real tests. Real lessons.
